Opening the Doors to Your Mental Health and Wellness

Immediate Release, January 2026
Pflugerville/Austin, Texas

Stay focused. Stay positive. Stay committed to your happiness.

Now is the time to focus on YOU and keep a positive outlook on life. Foundations Counseling Center in Pflugerville, Texas is here to support neighbors with every step forward. The holidays and new year are a time of family, friends, new goals, and celebrations. It’s also a tough time for many people who suffer with depression, anxiety, or loneliness. The challenges of life won’t be solved in a day, but taking the first step toward your mental health wellness can make all the difference.

The ribbon cutting celebration of our Foundations Counseling Center office in Pflugerville is set for Thursday, January 8th, 2026, as we expand our own horizons and help more people. Foundations Counseling Center helps patients age 6 and up with in-person and telehealth services for mental health and substance abuse issues. We opened our first location more than 20 years ago with one goal: to help people feel better, be more positive about their lives, and be able to reach their goals. Foundations Counseling Center founder Jennifer Moore, says “the key to wellness is remembering that you are not alone. There are people who care, and our experts are ready to help you take positive steps to make your life more fulfilling. Our family at Foundations Counseling Center is dedicated to your well-being.”

Fending off anxiety and depression during the holidays and the start of a new year begins with self-awareness. Delaying your health and well-being can make you feel worse. Common signs of depression? Changes in appetite, sleep patterns, and mood; feelings of inadequacy or guilt, and loss of interest in hobbies or activities.

Working with our wellness therapists using evidence-based therapies can help you identify challenges, prevent worsening symptoms, and incorporate daily strategies to remain positive. We invite neighbors and media to join us January 8th as we unite with community leaders in Pflugerville.

Foundations Counseling Center is honored to be welcomed by the Pflugerville Chamber of Commerce and local community leaders in this thriving city. We look forward to helping our clients, age 6 and older, find peace and balance in their lives. Our therapy includes in-person and telehealth outpatient services primarily for mental health, and we can also help with substance abuse cases.
